Preparation
- Gather and prep ingredients by mincing the garlic and measuring honey and soy sauce.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and garlic to create the glaze.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until the skin becomes crispy.
- Flip the salmon, pour the honey garlic glaze over the top, and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the glaze thickens.
- Plate the salmon, drizzle with any remaining glaze, and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
Ensure the pan is hot before adding the salmon for nice crispy skin. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if necessary. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey based on your taste. For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes when making the glaze.
