Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), chocolate chips, and salt. Stir until everything is fully mixed, then press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared dish.
  3. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store the granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freeze for up to three months. You can also add nuts, seeds, or dried fruits for extra flavor.
