  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Let sit at room temperature for easier mixing.
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp lemon zest For a touch of freshness.
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until soft.
  2. Add the cream cheese to a bowl along with chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Mix with a spoon or hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For best texture, let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving. Fresh herbs give the best flavor, but dried herbs can work too (use less).
