- Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until soft.
- Add the cream cheese to a bowl along with chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon zest, black pepper, and salt.
- Mix with a spoon or hand mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For best texture, let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before serving. Fresh herbs give the best flavor, but dried herbs can work too (use less).
