Preparation
- Place shot cups on a tray so they’re easy to move into the fridge.
- In a bowl, pour in 1 cup boiling water and stir in the gelatin powder for 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
- Stir in ½ cup cold water.
- Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes (this helps prevent alcohol evaporation).
- Stir in ½ cup liquor gently until combined.
- Carefully pour into shot cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Refrigerate for 2–4 hours (overnight is best). Serve chilled.
Notes
Keep sealed in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Do not freeze, as freezing ruins the texture. Add toppings right before serving for best results.
