Preparation

- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, milk, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Cooking
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish. If desired, spread ketchup on top.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
Serving
- Allow the meatloaf to rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
This meatloaf can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content and add chopped vegetables for extra nutrients.
