Method
Make the Sauce
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to form the sauce.
Cook the Chicken
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook chicken thighs for 6–7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
Serve & Garnish
- Serve the sticky chicken over cooked jasmine rice.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli, bell peppers, or snap peas for added color and nutrition.
